Halftime · Private preview
Terms of preview
Last updated: 2026-05-12 · Preview release. These terms cover Halftime's invite-only preview. They will be replaced with counsel-reviewed terms before any public launch.
What this is
Halftime is a private workspace concept for families preparing for college over years instead of weeks. The preview at halftime.team is a working demo of the product direction. By signing in you accept these preview terms.
Preview-only access
This is a private preview. Access is by invitation. The product is incomplete; flows may change, break, or be removed without notice. Don't rely on the preview for any real decision about a real student or a real application. Use it to give us feedback.
Acceptable use
- One person, one account.
- Don't probe, scrape, or stress-test the service.
- Don't share preview access with anyone we haven't invited.
- Don't try to reverse-engineer the product to clone it.
- Don't impersonate another person.
Feedback
We want your feedback. By sending us feedback (via the email link in the dashboard, in a conversation with a founder, or anywhere else), you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use it to improve the product. We won't quote you publicly without your OK.
Your data
See our privacy notice for what we collect and don't collect. Email feedback@halftime.team to delete your account.
No warranties
The preview is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties — explicit or implied — about availability, accuracy, or fitness for any purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Halftime's total liability to you for any claim related to the preview is capped at $100. The preview is free; nobody is paying for anything during this window.
Ending access
We may end or suspend preview access for any reason, including misuse. You may end your access at any time by emailing us.
Governing law
These preview terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County.
