What Halftime is in preview

Halftime is in private preview. You're seeing a working demo built around a sample family (Maya Chen). When you sign in, we create an account so you can return; we do not display your own data inside the demo experience.

What we collect

• Your name and email address from Google's OAuth scopes (openid, email, profile). We never request Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google scope.
• A profile display name you provide during onboarding (which can differ from your Google name).
• Profile type (parent, student, teacher, consultant) that you choose during onboarding.
• Anonymous analytics: page views, route transitions, and aggregate engagement signals. We use Vercel Analytics (no cookies, no user-level tracking) and Sentry (error reports — may include your account ID if an error occurs while you're signed in).

What we don't collect

• Any document, image, or upload of yours. Uploads are not enabled in the preview.
• Any free-text content you produce inside the demo (treats, saved items, visibility changes). That data lives in your browser's local storage and never reaches our servers.
• Information about your real student. The preview operates on the sample family only.
• Any Google Drive, Calendar, or third-party-app content.

Who can see what

The product principle is "AI proposes, student decides; parents see progress, not drafts." That principle drives the role-permission model demonstrated in the preview. Today nobody other than you sees your account because no multi-account features are enabled during preview.

Who we share with

We don't sell or share your data with advertisers. We use:

• Supabase — auth provider + database.
• Vercel — web hosting + privacy-respecting analytics.
• Cloudflare — DNS + DDoS protection.
• Sentry — error reporting.
• Google — OAuth identity provider.

Each of these is a standard processor. None receive content beyond what's needed to operate the service.

Your data, your control

Want your account deleted? Email feedback@halftime.team with the email you signed up with. We'll delete your account within 7 days.

Age + COPPA

The preview is intended for adults (parents, educators) evaluating the product. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete the account.

Changes

This is a preview document. We'll update it as the product matures. For material changes (new categories of data, new processors), we'll email everyone with an active account before the change takes effect.
